Vineet Mathur
Founder, Principal and Chief Executive Officer
Vineet is a collaborative leader with two decades of experience helping organizations across industries and geographies navigate challenges and achieve goals. Throughout his career, Vineet has successfully led and delivered multiple complex, large-scale and high-profile, transformative projects at some of the largest companies in Canada, USA and UK, including financial services and pension firms.
An entrepreneur at heart, Vineet established Vinifi Consulting to channel his enthusiasm for solving problems and leverage his skills in implementing practical solutions that yield meaningful outcomes to improve lives. He stands out for his direct approach to overcoming challenges, consistently driving impactful results, and fostering an inspiringly positive environment.
Earlier in his career, Vineet spent over a decade as the Head of Technology for two leading global broadcasting associations, subsequently dedicating another 12 years to advancing through progressively senior roles within EY’s Advisory practice, where he led non-financial risk management, process improvement, strategy and transformation/modernization projects.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Toronto, specializing in both Economics and Political Science, along with a minor in Environmental Economics. Additionally, he has earned Management certifications from Harvard Business School and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
Vineet loves to give back to his community and has taken steps to realize his big dream of becoming a philanthropist one day! He enjoys volunteering with different groups, including Ascend Canada, where he serves as the Assistant Vice President of Sponsorship and Member Engagement. He truly believes in the idea of "paying it forward" and loves spending time mentoring and coaching others to help them grow both personally and professionally.
Amongst his many recognitions, Vineet has been honored with the Ascend Canada MVP Award and was one of the leaders on the team that clinched the EY Global Better Begins With You Team Award. Additionally, he was nominated for the prestigious Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award and the EY Canada Better Begins With You Individual Award.
In his spare time, Vineet volunteers with Ascend Canada, and loves to connect with his family and friends, discover new dining spots, travel on different adventures, watch the latest movies, or indulge in creative pursuits like sketching and painting.
